Continuing Support
A funeral doesn’t always mark the end of my involvement. Over the years, many people have contacted me again to ask whether I can help with other important occasions as they continue to remember or pay tribute to someone important to them.
This may include:
- Interment or scattering of ashes.
- The unveiling or dedication of a memorial or headstone.
- Anniversary and remembrance ceremonies.
- Family gatherings to celebrate or reflect on the life of the person who has died.
- Helping individuals or families talk openly about their own funeral wishes, giving them the opportunity to record their thoughts and share them with those closest to them.
An interment or scattering of ashes ceremony within the St Helens area is normally £100, which includes preparation, local travel and conducting the ceremony. For ceremonies further afield, I am always happy to travel. Any additional fee will simply reflect the extra traveling time and associated costs and will always be discussed with you in advance.
Every family and every occasion is different. Some requests are simple, others more involved, and many don’t fit neatly into a particular category. Whatever you have in mind, please feel free to get in touch. I will always listen, discuss your ideas and, where appropriate, agree a fee that fairly reflects the time, travel and work involved.
